Οι πτυχιούχοι μας έχουν κατοχυρωμένα επαγγελματικά δικαιώματα

Όταν ένα Τμήμα δεν έχει κατοχυρωμένα επαγγελματικά δικαιώματα, τότε το επάγγελμα των πτυχιούχων του μπορεί να το ασκήσει οποιοσδήποτε. 

Τα επαγγελματικά δικαιώματα των Γεωλόγων έχουν κατοχυρωθεί με το Προεδρικό Διάταγμα 344/2000 (Αρ Φύλλου 297), Κεφάλαιο Ε΄ ( ΕΠΑΓΓΕΛΜΑΤΙΚΕΣ ΔΡΑΣΤΗΡΙΟΤΗΤΕΣ - ΥΠΟΧΡΕΩΤΙΚΗ ΑΠΑΣΧΟΛΗΣΗ ΓΕΩΛΟΓΩΝ), ενώ σύμφωνα και με το Προεδρικό Διάταγμα 90/2014 (Αρ. Φύλλου 138) οι Γεωλόγοι μπορούν να εγγράφονται στα μητρώα κατασκευαστών για την εκτέλεση έργων γεωτρήσεων και σηράγγων. Οι επαγγελματικές δραστηριότητές και οι δυνατότητες απασχόλησης ενός γεωλόγου επικεντρώνονται στα εξής:

Επαγγελματικές δραστηριότητες

α) Στη σύνταξη κάθε είδους γεωλογικής μελέτης, στην εκτέλεση και επίβλεψη έργων γεωλογικής διερεύνησης, συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των φωτογεωλογικών και τηλεανιχνευτικών ερευνών.

β) Στην έρευνα, αξιοποίηση, διαχείριση και εκμετάλλευση των ορυκτών, υδατικών και ενεργειακών πόρων, καθώς και έργων μεταλλευτικής γεωλογίας.

γ) Στη σύνταξη γεωλογικών, γεωμορφολογικών, υδρογεωλογικών, γεωτεχνικών, εδαφοτεχνικών, κοιτασματολογικών, γεωχημικών, τεκτονικών, νεοτεκτονικών, σεισμοτεκτονικών, γεωφυσικών, παλαιογεωγραφικών, εδαφολογικών και φωτογεωλογικών μελετών και στη σύνταξη των αντίστοιχων χαρτών.

δ) Στις κάθε φύσης υποθαλάσσιες και παράκτιες γεωλογικές έρευνες.

ε) Στις κάθε φύσης γεωλογικές και γεωτεχνικές μελέτες και εργασίες θεμελίωσης και κατασκευής επιφανειακών και υπόγειων τεχνικών έργων.

στ) Στον προγραμματισμό, εκτέλεση, επίβλεψη και αξιολόγηση δεδομένων ερευνητικών - δειγματοληπτικών γεωτρήσεων για γεωλογικούς, κοιτασματολογικούς, υδρογεωλογικούς, μεταλλευτικούς, γεωτεχνικούς, εδαφοτεχνικούς, γεωθερμικούς σκοπούς και στην αναζήτηση υδρογονανθράκων.

ζ) Στον προγραμματισμό, εκτέλεση και επίβλεψη τσιμεντενέσεων σταθεροποίησης και στεγανοποίησης.

η) Στον προγραμματισμό, εκτέλεση και επίβλεψη υδρομαστευτικών αποστραγγιστικών έργων και υδρογεωτρήσεων.

θ) Στις εργασίες προσδιορισμού των φυσικών και μηχανικών ιδιοτήτων εδαφών, βράχων και αδρανών υλικών, στον έλεγχο τήρησης και εφαρμογής προδιαγραφών που αφορούν τα υλικά κατασκευής τεχνικών έργων, καθώς και στη σύνταξη προδιαγραφών.

ι) Στις κάθε φύσης γεωτεχνικές εργασίες, έρευνες ή μελέτες που αφορούν το σχεδιασμό, πρόληψη και αντιμετώπιση καταστροφικών φαινομένων, σεισμών, κατολισθήσεων, κατακρημνίσεων, καθιζήσεων, ηφαιστείων και υπερβολικής ανύψωσης της στάθμης των υπόγειων και επιφανειακών νερών (πλημμύρες).

ια) Στις κάθε φύσης γεωλογικές χαρτογραφήσεις κοιτασματολογικού, τεχνικού, γεωργικού, δασικού και γεωτεχνικού ενδιαφέροντος. Στη σύνταξη γεωτεχνικών μελετών, εκτέλεση και επίβλεψη έργων γεωτεχνικής διερεύνησης για την κατασκευή οδών, φραγμάτων, λιμνοδεξαμενών, υδατοδεξαμενών, γεφυρών, σιδηροδρομικών γραμμών, υπόγειων ταμιευτήρων, σηράγγων και στοών και εν γένει εκσκαφών και θεμελιώσεων στο έδαφος και υπέδαφος, με την εκτέλεση γεωτεχνικών και τεχνικογεωλογικών χαρτογραφήσεων (επίγειων και υπόγειων), εργαστηριακών και επιτόπιων δοκιμών εδαφομηχανικής και βραχομηχανικής, γεωφυσικών διασκοπήσεων και εφαρμογών τηλεπισκόπησης.

ιβ) Στη σύνταξη και αξιολόγηση συνθετικών χαρτών δημόσιου οικονομικού συμφέροντος (χάρτες χρήσης γης) και στην εφαρμογή Γεωγραφικών Συστημάτων Πληροφοριών (G.I.S.) για όλες τις παραπάνω κατηγορίες χαρτογραφήσεων.

ιγ) Στις κάθε φύσης γεωλογικές, γεωχημικές και γεωφυσικές εργασίες που έχουν σκοπό τον εντοπισμό, αξιολόγηση και αξιοποίηση κοιτασμάτων ορυκτών πρώτων υλών, γεωθερμικών πεδίων, υδρογονανθράκων και άλλων ενεργειακών πρώτων υλών καθώς και στις βιοχημικές εργασίες και έρευνες.

ιδ) Στην έρευνα, εκμετάλλευση, αξιοποίηση, επεξεργασία και διακίνηση ορυκτών πρώτων υλών για την παραγωγή πολύτιμων και ημιπολύτιμων λίθων.

ιε) Στην έρευνα, εξόρυξη, επεξεργασία, τυποποίηση και εμπορία μαρμάρων, διακοσμητικών πετρωμάτων και αδρανών υλικών, συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των σκληρών αδρανών υλικών.

ιστ) Στη μελέτη των τεχνολογικών παραμέτρων των ορυκτών.

ιζ) Στον εντοπισμό, ποσοτικό και ποιοτικό προσδιορισμό, αξιοποίηση και διαχείριση των υδάτινων πόρων.

ιη) Στην έρευνα, αξιοποίηση και διαχείριση των θερμομεταλλικών υδάτων για γεωργικές, οικιστικές, τουριστικές και βιομηχανικές εκμεταλλεύσεις, καθώς και την εμφιάλωση και εμπορία των μεταλλικών υδάτων.

ιθ) Στον έλεγχο της ποιότητας και της δίαιτας, καθώς στην προστασία του υπόγειου υδατικού δυναμικού από κάθε μεταβολή των φυσικών, χημικών και μικροβιολογικών ιδιοτήτων του, εξαιτίας ανθρωπογενών επεμβάσεων, καθώς και στη λήψη μέτρων για την εξυγίανση και αποκατάσταση της ποιότητας των υδάτων που έχουν υποστεί ρύπανση και μόλυνση.

κ) Στις κάθε φύσης γεωλογικές, στρωματογραφικές, τεκτονικές, νεοτεκτονικές, γεωμορφολογικές, ιζηματολογικές, γεωφυσικές, γεωχημικές, ραδιομετρικές διασκοπήσεις, παλαιοντολογικές, ορυκτοδιαγνωστικές, αρχαιομετρικές μελέτες που αφορούν την αρχαιολογική έρευνα, στις κάθε φύσης εργασίες για την αντιμετώπιση καταστροφών που προέρχονται από τη διάβρωση, καθώς και στην αναστήλωση μνημείων.

κα) Σε κάθε φύσης γεωφυσικές εργασίες, καθώς και στην αξιολόγηση και ερμηνεία των γεωφυσικών δεδομένων.

κβ) Στις εργασίες καθορισμού της σεισμικότητας και της σεισμικής επικινδυνότητας, σύνταξης μικροζωνικών μελετών, σύνταξης νεοτεκτονικών χαρτών και γενικά στον αντισεισμικό σχεδιασμό.

κγ) Σε δραστηριότητες που έχουν σχέση με την προστασία, αξιοποίηση, αποκατάσταση και διατήρηση του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος.

κδ) Στην προστασία των παράκτιων περιοχών και των υγροβιότοπων από τη μεταφορά και την απόθεση φερτών υλικών και ιζημάτων μέσω ποταμών και ρεμάτων.

κε) Στην έρευνα, εντοπισμό, ανάδειξη, αξιοποίηση, διαχείριση και προστασία γεωλογικών μνημείων, γεωπάρκων, γεωτόπων, καθώς και περιοχών ιδιαίτερου γεωλογικού και γεωμορφολογικού ενδιαφέροντος.

κστ) Στον αστικό και περιφερειακό σχεδιασμό που αφορά την καταλληλότητα των εδαφών για ασφαλή δόμηση, τον καθορισμό βιομηχανικών, βιοτεχνικών και μεταλλευτικών περιοχών, λατομικών ζωνών και μαρμαροφόρων περιοχών, ζωνών απόληψης οικονομικών πρώτων υλών, χώρων αποθήκευσης καυσίμων, χώρων κατάλληλων για απόθεση και αποθήκευση αστικών και βιομηχανικών αποβλήτων και χώρων κατάλληλων για κοιμητήρια, την αποκατάσταση του περιβάλλοντος σε λατομικές και μεταλλευτικές περιοχές, την προστασία αρχαιολογικών χώρων και τοποθεσιών, φυσικών και γεωλογικών μνημείων και τοπίων ιδιαίτερου κάλλους και γενικά του πολιτιστικού περιβάλλοντος και της αισθητικής του τοπίου.

κζ) Στην γεωλογική, υδρογεωλογική και τεκτονική μελέτη και τουριστική αξιοποίηση των σπηλαίων.

κη) Σε μεταλλευτικές και λατομικές εργασίες για την έρευνα, εντοπισμό, εκμετάλλευση, αξιοποίηση και επεξεργασία των ορυκτών υλών σε κάθε μεταλλευτικό ή λατομικό χώρο.

κθ) Στις αποκαλύψεις μεταλλείων, γεωτρήσεων και ερευνών υπεδάφους.

λ) Στο χωροταξικό σχεδιασμό, στην κατανομή χρήσης γης, στον καθορισμό οικιστικών περιοχών και στη θεμελίωση οικισμών και προστασία τους από φυσικά καταστροφικά φαινόμενα.

λα) Στη σύνταξη και εκτέλεση γεωτουριστικών προγραμμάτων και στην εν γένει ανάπτυξη του γεωτουρισμού.

λβ) Στην εκπαίδευση (δευτεροβάθμια - τριτοβάθμια), στους οργανισμούς τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης όλων των βαθμίδων, σε οργανισμούς περιφερειακής ανάπτυξης, στις υπηρεσίες της νομαρχιακής αυτοδιοίκησης, καθώς και στους οργανισμούς ποιοτικού ελέγχου ορυκτών, υδάτινων και ενεργειακών πόρων και πρώτων υλών.

Δυνατότητες απασχόλησης

Η απασχόληση, με αμοιβή, γεωλόγου με σχέση εξαρτημένης εργασίας ή σύμβαση έργου ή συμβούλου, είναι υποχρεωτική στις ακόλουθες περιπτώσεις:

α) Σε μεταλλευτικές, μεταλλουργικές και λατομικές επιχειρήσεις, βιομηχανίες και γενικά σε βιομηχανικές και βιοτεχνικές μονάδες που ασχολούνται με την έρευνα, εξόρυξη, επεξεργασία, τυποποίηση, διακίνηση και εμπορία ορυκτών και ενεργειακών πρώτων υλών, προϊόντων και υποπροϊόντων τους.

β) Σε όλους τους δημόσιους ή ιδιωτικούς φορείς, ΟΤΑ, συνεταιρισμούς και αναπτυξιακούς συνδέσμους που προγραμματίζουν κάθε φύσης βασική και εφαρμοσμένη γεωλογική έρευνα.

γ) Σε μεταλλευτικές και λατομικές επιχειρήσεις.

δ) Σε μονάδες εμφιάλωσης και εμπορίας μεταλλικών υδάτων.

ε) Σε βιομηχανικές και βιοτεχνικές μονάδες επεξεργασίας και τυποποίησης ορυκτών πρώτων υλών, καθώς και των προϊόντων και υποπροϊόντων τους και ειδικότερα στις μονάδες παραγωγής τσιμέντου, μαρμάρων και διακοσμητικών πετρωμάτων, κεραμοποιίας, υαλουργίας, πολύτιμων και ημιπολύτιμων λίθων.

στ) Στις επιχειρήσεις εξόρυξης ενεργειακών πρώτων υλών και υδρογονανθράκων.

ζ) Στους φορείς που εκμεταλλεύονται τις λουτροπόλεις.

η) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με την κατάρτιση προγραμμάτων μελετών, κατασκευής και συντήρησης συγκοινωνιακών, κτιριακών και εγγειοβελτιωτικών έργων.

θ) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με γεωερευνητικές εργασίες για τη διαπίστωση των εδαφικών και υπεδαφικών συνθηκών για τη θεμελίωση τεχνικών έργων (γεωτρήσεις, γεωφυσικές διασκοπήσεις, ερευνητικά φρεάτια ή ορύγματα, δοκιμαστικές σήραγγες).

ι) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τη μελέτη, επίβλεψη, κατασκευή και συντήρηση των μεγάλων τεχνικών έργων (δρόμων, φραγμάτων και ταμιευτήρων ύδατος, γεφυρών και επιχωμάτων, λιμενικών έργων, αεροδρομίων, σηράγγων και στοών).

ια) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τον προγραμματισμό, εκτέλεση, επίβλεψη και αξιολόγηση δεδομένων των κάθε φύσης ερευνητικών ή παραγωγικών γεωτρήσεων που εκτελούνται από ή για λογαριασμό δημόσιων ή ιδιωτικών φορέων, καθώς και στην καλλιέργεια πηγών στα υδρομαστευτικά έργα.

ιβ) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τις κάθε φύσης υδρογεωλογικές μελέτες και έρευνες που αφορούν τον εντοπισμό, ποσοτικό και ποιοτικό προσδιορισμό, αξιοποίηση και διαχείριση των υπόγειων υδάτινων πόρων (φυσικών, μεταλλικών, θερμομεταλλικών υδάτων), καθώς και τον καθορισμό ζωνών προστασίας για την αποτροπή ενδεχόμενης μόλυνσης - ρύπανσής τους και αλλοίωσης των αποθεμάτων τους.

ιγ) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τον προγραμματισμό, μελέτη, επίβλεψη και κατασκευή αντιδιαβρωτικών έργων.

ιδ) Στους οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις ύδρευσης και αποχέτευσης.

ιε) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τον προγραμματισμό, μελέτη, επίβλεψη και εκτέλεση έργων αποκάλυψης μεταλλείου.

ιστ) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τον καθορισμό θέσεων εναπόθεσης αστικών βιομηχανικών αποβλήτων, αποθήκευσης καυσίμων, κοιμητηρίων, σφαγείων, βαφείων, βυρσοδεψίων.

ιζ) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τη διενέργεια εκτιμήσεων και πραγματογνωμοσυνών σε κάθε φύσης καταστροφές που είναι συνέπεια γεωδυναμικών φαινομένων ή διαταραχών, όπως κατολισθήσεις, κατακρημνίσεις, καθιζήσεις, σεισμοί, καθώς και στη λήψη των αναγκαίων μέτρων για την αντιμετώπισή τους.

ιη) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τις περιπτώσεις αγοραπωλησίας μεταλλείου, λατομείου, κοιτάσματος ή παραχώρησης, για την εκτίμηση του ύψους της συναλλαγής.

ιθ) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με περιπτώσεις λήψης περιοριστικών μέτρων για την προστασία των υπόγειων υδάτων από τους κινδύνους εξάντλησης και υφαλμύρωσής τους, με σκοπό την επωφελή χρησιμοποίηση και διατήρηση της ποιότητάς τους.

κ) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τον έλεγχο και τις διαδικασίες παραχώρησης, μίσθωσης μεταλλείων, ορυχείων και λατομείων.

κα) Σε φορείς, οργανισμούς και επιχειρήσεις που ασχολούνται με τον έλεγχο οικονομοτεχνικών μελετών για την ίδρυση, επέκταση, ανανέωση αδειών μεταλλευτικών ή λα­τομικών επιχειρήσεων και στις αντίστοιχες μελέτες απο­κατάστασης του περιβάλλοντος.

κβ) Στα μουσεία φυσικής ιστορίας, γεωλογίας, παλαιοντολογίας, στις εκθέσεις ορυκτών και πετρωμάτων, καθώς και στα γεωπάρκα.
